Welcome to 2022! We hope the New Year has been sweet to you so far. With the turn of the year, we are delighted to announce the opening of our new location in north Colorado Springs, in addition to our charming Old Colorado City flower market. We are especially ramping up our wedding floral services in 2022 as our northern location is beneath Something New Boutique, a local bridal and formal shop where we can connect with many brides-to-be!
Sweetwater’s northern location, 11590 Ridgeline Drive Suite 120, focuses on wedding flowers and also continues our professional, custom floral arrangements. With an elegant atmosphere and sophisticated décor and products throughout our new flower market, soon-to-be-brides can visit us for inspiration on their wedding flowers and overall theme. Our experienced florists at both locations are happy to help you design your unique vision for your big day!
We offer scheduled consultations with our extremely talented florists to go over your floral details, hopes, and wishes for your dream wedding. One benefit of creating your wedding floral arrangements with us at Sweetwater is that you can pair “I do!” with “I did this!” Along with the ceremony flowers, we can help with rehearsal dinner arrangements and hotel floral gifts for guest rooms.
Brides-to-be can create their own floral arrangements by choosing the color palette, types of flowers, loose greens, and other details that matter most – all with a professional Sweetwater florist. We will first help you decide which type of wedding bouquet you want.
Beautiful Bouquet Styles
Cascading bouquets are designed with flowers and loose greens that fall from your hands to form a literal waterfall of petals and stems. These bouquets give an elegant and formal look. For the DIY bride, the hand-tied bouquet is most popular! You can choose a wide variety of flowers for this simple design. One of the more unique bouquet styles is the crescent design.
The flowers are arranged in a soft arch-shape for a whimsical tone. The round design is the most popular for bridal bouquets. The flowers in a round bouquet are clustered and harmonized in color. Or perhaps you’re looking for a smaller bouquet to follow the theme of petite and precise. For this style, you’ll want to choose the nosegay bouquet that consists of tightly bound flowers. Nosegays give off an intimate and romantic style.
Schedule a Consultation with a Sweetwater Florist
We recommend scheduling your consultation with a Sweetwater florist once you know the day of your wedding. We are happy to work with your wedding planning timeline and suggest your consultation with us take place no later than three months before your wedding date. Because all our floral arrangements are made with fresh flowers, we will order the flowers one month before your wedding and have all arrangements made in time for your day! Talk to our specialists about pick-up and delivery services available.
Aside from bouquets, other wedding floral services include flower arrangements for your ceremony, reception, and decoration such as archways, centerpieces, corsages, and more.
Meaningful Flower Creations
We continue to offer a colorful variety of fresh flowers at our new location for all types of flower arrangements. After our initial consultation on your wedding flowers, you can choose to let us take the reins on the design and creation, or you can let your imagination run wild in the customization of your order whether it is for your loved one, an anniversary, home décor, and more. An example of ways to make your floral arrangements unique, one recent custom order for wedding floral arrangements added special tokens to the groomsmen’s boutonnieres. By adding these significant items to the boutonnieres, each one had their own special meaning. We are here to make your special day a sweet one!
Bouquet With Your Bridesmaids!
Our weekly workshops, held at either location, are a fantastic way to get familiar with floral design. For our brides-to-be, our workshops can be your bridal shower! Bring your bridal crew to one of our flower markets for an evening full of flowers, stems and more. You can create your own bouquets or wreaths and spend the evening being creative together. Visit our workshops page here to book your tickets today – our classes fill up quickly!
How to Save Your Wedding Bouquet
There are plenty of ways to preserve the fresh flowers that make up your wedding bouquet. Let the flowers serve as fresh, colorful petals on your wedding day, then preserve them to keep a lifetime. At Sweetwater Flower Market, our wreath classes are the perfect opportunity for you to create something beautiful out of your bouquet. We guide our newly-wed guests in creating wreaths with the flowers that were part of their big day! Visit our list of workshops on our website or call us today for more information.
